Ramazan Fitresi, also known as Zakat al-Fitr or Sadaqah al-Fitr, is an obligatory charity given by Muslims at the end of the holy month of Ramadan. For 2021, the amount of Ramazan Fitresi is determined by the government in Turkey as 25 Turkish Lira per person. The payment is made before Eid al-Fitr prayers and is distributed to the poor and needy.
It is important to note that Ramazan Fitresi is separate from Zakat, which is one of the five pillars of Islam and is a compulsory charitable donation based on a person's wealth.
